Web Based Channels of Communication

The task was to create a powerpoint for the Rainbow Organisation that will inform a group of senior citizens with limited IT knowledge on the topic of Web Based Communication Channels.
When creating it I was working with Phillip. I found working with him to be okay, as was presenting the powerpoint.
After the presentation I received some feedback from the audience. The summary was that the content of the powerpoint was good, well balanced with images and text and well laid out. I also received feedback on my presentation skills, that I did well by making eye contact, paraphrasing and not reading from the screen.

For this presentation I created every slide, adapting the EoWBCC, Blogs & Vlogs slides from my partner's notes.

I presented:
  • Web Based Communication Channels
  • Podcasts
  • Video Conferencing
  • Web Pages
Each slide uses the same style of animations:

  • Fade through Black transition
  • Title - Fade
  • Images - Faded Zoom
  • Text - Ascend

(Scott Mills Daily/The Best of Chris Moyles/Going Quantum)

Each image has been hyperlinked to their respective blog website
(Tumblr/Wordpress/Blogger)

The skype icon has been hyperlinked to Skype's website, giving users a more in depth look at the software.

The image has been hyperlinked to Vlog.it to show users an example of a vlogging website.

The images have been linked to Microsoft's Access webpage and Adobe's Dreamweaver page respectively. This gives users further insight into the web design software that is needed to create web pages.
